Time for Prints  — a term denoting an agreement between a model and a photographer to instead pay for each other’s services. The photographer agrees to provide the model with a certain number of prints of the best photographs from the session and a limited license to use these photographs.

The terms of the agreement may differ, and therefore the photographer and model who agree on the shooting discuss in advance where and how they plan to use the photographs. TFP photography does not by default assume that the model grants the unconditional right to use her image for commercial purposes.

Shooting under TFP conditions is beneficial to both the model and the photographer at certain stages of their creativity and is usually useful to both parties when their professionalism coincides. At a similar professional level, TFP shooting will most likely give good results and is also a convenient way to implement your own creative projects with minimal financial costs.
